Seeking Volunteers Who Know How to Have Fun!

Contact Andrea Dean (andrea@andreadean.com) or 960-3727 and let me know if you can be counted on for one of the two items below.

The North Kohala Eat Locally Grown Campaign starts on Saturday, September 25th and these things would help kick start the campaign in a meaningful way:

Goal 1: Our goal is to get 100 people from North Kohala to go online at KanuHawaii.org/northkohala to make a commitment to participate in the Eat Local Challenge (eat local 1 meal, 1 day, 1 week, 1 event…)

Volunteer: I need 20 volunteers to make an eat local commitment themselves and then get 4 friends or family to do the same! It’s EASY and makes a BIG difference!

Goal 2: Support our local businesses and the farmers who supply them by eating at a local restaurant or buying local produce at the farmer’s market or stores on Saturday, September 25th.

Volunteer: I need 11 volunteers to GO TO BREAKFAST, LUNCH or DINNER WITH FRIENDS (how easy and fun is that?). I need one volunteer for each participating restaurant and market in North Kohala (Kohala Coffee Mill, Sushi Rock, Kava Kafé, Luke’s Place, Lighthouse Deli, Pico’s Bistro, Snack Shack, Fig’s Mixed Plate, and Minnie’s, Takata’s, Nakahara’s, Hawi Farmers Market) to gather a group of friends and family and go eat out locally grown!

Please get back to Andrea by Wed, September 15th (andrea@andreadean.com) or 960-3727
