Participating local restaurants and markets (Kohala Coffee Mill, Sushi Rock, Kava Kafé, Luke’s Place, Lighthouse Deli, Pico’s Bistro, Snack Shack, Fig’s Mixed Plate, and Minnie’s (formerly Sammy D’s) will create sumptuous specials using North Kohala produce, fish, and meats. The Hawi Farmers Market, Nakahara and Takata stores will feature North Kohala Grown produce and products.

Food Swap and Drop at the Hawi Farmer’s Market

Backyard farmers can drop off their back yard food abundance at the Farmer’s Market to be given away or traded.
Shelly is also be available to glean excess food for people who can’t pick or harvest themselves.
Extra food will be donated.
